Selma Police are investigating a robbery reported early-Monday in the 900 block of West Waddell Street.
A 46 year-old man was less than 1 block from his home when he was attacked by a man who had gotten out of a black SUV. The suspect reportedly struck the victim with a brick, knocking him to the ground. The victim’s mother in law heard the commotion, came outside and ran to the aid of her son-in-law.
The suspect, a black male, unknown age, about 150 pounds, wearing a white t-shirt and gray gym shorts, was last seen fleeing in a black SUV.
No items were taken from the victim, who sustained minor injuries.
