Faircloth Joins Smithfield Police Force

A former Wilson County sheriff’s deputy is the newest member of the Smithfield Police Department. Officer William Faircloth was sworn in recently by Smithfield Mayor Andy Moore.  Faircloth has two years of experience in law enforcement. Police Chief Keith Powell said Faircloth will be assigned to the patrol division.
